April 21 will be the one-year anniversary of Kid Comet and the Sixth Grade Shadow. I can’t believe it has only been a year. It has felt like I’ve been doing this for five.
As a book birthday present, I’m looking to boost reviews for Kid Comet. If you’re not familiar, this is a middle-grade superhero adventure story with a lot of heart. It’s a story about perseverance and courage and about forgiving yourself when you think you’ve made a terrible mistake.
It’s a great book if you have an 8-12 year-old reader who love anime-inspired hero journeys, superhero origin stories, underdogs discovering hidden powers, and graphic novel or manga fans who are ready to level up to chapter books. It’s got fast-paced action balanced with real middle school struggles.
Kid Comet and the Sixth Grade Shadow is Book 1 in the Kid Comet series. After they fall in love with Josh’s story, two more installments are waiting.
I’m trying to get 5-8 new reviews up by the end of April. Please help me reach my goal!
To help this along, I’m offering up free digital Advanced Reader copies for a limited time. Get your copy here!
